One Year of Nurturing Champions

At the 75th convocation of Alagappa Government Arts College, 1,150 graduates were honoured for their 2023–2024 achievements. Chief Guest Dr. Ramanathan Vairavan inspired students with a call for purposeful excellence and paid tribute to Vallal Alagappa’s visionary legacy. The event radiated pride and joy among students, families, and faculty.

The 1980–84 batch celebrated their 40th reunion with 107 alumni and families returning to campus for tributes, memories, and giving back. Highlights included honouring Dr. Alagappa Chettiar, faculty felicitation, and a generous ₹23-lakh LED screen donation. The event echoed gratitude and a shared vision for future campus growth.

Inaugurated by Hon'ble Mayor MuthuDurai, the event saw 1000+ participants, including staff, students, and community leaders. The walk began and ended at Umayal Ramanathan Women’s College, with medals awarded to all.

ALAGAPPA NURSING STUDENTS SHINE AT TECHKNOWSAFE-2.0 SYMPOSIUM,  KARAIKUDI

Alagappa College of Nursing students showcased their talents at TECHKNOWSAFE-2.0, a state-level symposium hosted by Fire and Safety College, Karaikudi. Fifty-one students competed in events like paper presentations, photography, and quizzes—Ms. Rithika secured second place in the quiz. The event highlighted student excellence and the college’s focus on professional growth.

Igniting Minds, Ensuring Safety

The Under-15 Cricket Team of Alagappa Matric School emerged victorious, winning the C.S.K Inter-District and Sivagangai District Combined Champion Trophy. Their exceptional teamwork led to the Sivagangai District Championship title. Special accolades went to Santhosh (Best Batsman), Abdullah (Best Bowler), and Captain Viswa (Best Bowler & All-Rounder).

ALAGAPPA NURSING COLLEGE COLLABORATION WITH NAGARATHAR NORTH AMERICAN ASSOCIATION CONDUCT HEALTHCARE CAMP FOR DEVOTIES, KARAIKUDI

Alagappa Nursing College, in collaboration with the Nagarathar North American Association, conducted the Palani Pathayathirai Camp in 2025. More 1000 devotees received daily medical care, thanks to the efforts of dedicated healthcare professionals and volunteers. The initiative showcased a deep commitment to compassionate community service.

The expo fostered confidence, teamwork, and hands-on learning, earning praise for its engaging and educational impact.

The Alagappa School Expo organized by Tieke Education, highlighted student creativity through interactive exhibits. Key attractions included the Kindness Corner for self affirmation, Health Bingo for wellness awareness, Brain Gym for cognitive skills, and Money Management, where students learned financial literacy by selling handmade items. A Memory Corner and Chart Display celebrated student achievements

Marching with Pride

Shivani of Class IX A proudly represented the RSP Tamil Nadu Police Traffic Warden Organisation at the 76th Republic Day Parade in January 2025. The grand celebration featured cultural performances, military displays, and school contingents, honoring India's unity and heritage. The Governor hoisted the national flag, paying tribute to freedom fighters and national pride

Tradition Takes Center Stage

Young talents lit up the stage with enchanting Carnatic music and Bharatanatyam, showcasing their dedication to Tamil arts. A heartfelt tribute honoured the Chairman for his unwavering support, with his presence inspiring students deeply. Organized by Tamil Isai Sangam and APAA, the event beautifully blended tradition, talent, and gratitude.

As part of the Meet & Dine program, students had a memorable opportunity to share lunch and engage in inspiring conversations with the Chairman of Alagappa Group. The session was filled with valuable insights, encouragement, and meaningful discussions about dreams and aspirations. His warm presence left a lasting impact, reflecting the institution’s commitment to student growth.

Shaping Futures through Skills

Academic leaders visited the SKPD NTTF Training Centre in Chennai for an insightful session on advancing skill-based, career-focused education. Inspired by our Chairman’s vision, the discussion emphasized hands-on learning and industry-relevant training. The session underscored the importance of aligning education with evolving job market demands.
